1/4 cup walnuts
4 whole garlic cloves
5 cup fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup olive oil
1 cup Parmesan (freshly grated)
4 whole sourdough rolls (or a long baguette)
1 pound roasted turkey (sliced thin)
3 whole tomatoes (sliced)
12 slices fresh mozzarella
- In a food processor, blend together walnuts, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil, and parmesan until mixture is smooth.
- Cut rolls in half and layer with pesto, turkey, tomatoes, and mozzarella.
