( Serves 1 )
1/2 cup blood orange juice (about 2 blood oranges)*
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 whole banana (sliced)
1 cup frozen cherries
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. Puree until mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a large glass and serve immediately.
*NOTE: If you can't get your hands on blood oranges, you can substitute with regular oranges
