Ingredients

2 jar applesauce (16 oz.)
2 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a 2 quart casserole combine applesauce, sugar, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Bake uncovered for 2 1/2 hours or until mixture is very thick. Stir occasionally during baking.
  4. Allow to cool and place in jars or freezer containers.
